Orders under $500 are charged weight-based shipping, calculated at checkout
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 5-7 business days. Estimated delivery times begin once your order has been processed and handed off to the carrier, not when you've placed your order. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your package right to your doorstep.
Please Note:
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item arrives damaged and is eligible for return per our return policy.
In-Store Order Pickup
All orders (whether shipping or in-store pickup) are processed within 5–7 business days. We always do our best to complete orders sooner, but this time frame allows our team to prepare your items with care.
Pickup Notification
Once your order is ready, you’ll receive an email notification letting you know it’s available for pickup.
Picking Up Your Order
When you arrive at the store, please be ready to:

Provide the name on the order

Share your order number
Pickup Window
After receiving your pickup notification, you’ll have 14 days to collect your order.
If an order is not picked up within that time:

It will be returned to inventory

Store credit will be issued in accordance with our store policy
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We’re flattered by the love from around the world! While we don’t offer international shipping just yet, we hope to in the future. Stay tuned - we’re working on it!
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help!
Order Cancellations:
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund anytime before they have shipped. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible at customerservice@downhomedeboers.com or call us at 605-777-5463.
Processing Time:
Orders are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Once your order has been processed and a shipping label has been created, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.
After Shipment:
Unfortunately, we cannot cancel or modify orders after they have shipped. If you no longer wish to keep the item, please refer to our above Return Policy for details on how to initiate a return once your order has been delivered.
Custom or Final Sale Items:
Please note that custom-made, personalized, or final sale items are not eligible for cancellation or refund once the order has been placed.
DAMAGES & ISSUES
Please inspect your item(s) at the time of purchase or upon delivery for online orders. If you notice any damage, defects, or concerns, let us know right away so we can make it right - ideally before completing your purchase in-store, or within 5 days of delivery for online orders.
Claims for damages on shipped items must be made within 5 days of delivery to ensure we can properly assist you.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
If your package is lost in transit and cannot be delivered, we will reship the item if available or offer a refund to the original payment used once confirmed undeliverable by the carrier and the address listed on file is correct and valid.
Packages marked “delivered” by the shipping carrier but not received are considered the customer's responsibility.
Here’s what you can do:

Check with neighbors or nearby households

Contact your local post office with your tracking information

If you suspect theft, file a police report and send us a copy
We’re happy to work with you to replace items once a police report is received.
Packages returned to us as undeliverable can be reshipped, but shipping costs will be at the customer’s expense.
